Looking for a life coach who understands creatives?
That's me!
I have an Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology from Stellenbosch University and a Post-graduate Diploma in Journalism from Rhodes University. I combine these two interests (psychology and writing) through coaching and copywriting. Coaching allows me to support human beings on their journey; and writing gives me the opportunity to develop deep, meaningful narratives for an array of businesses.
I've built exciting careers over the years – first in magazine publishing, as a writer for Top Billing magazine and then as Managing Editor for Condé Nast House & Garden and Gourmet Magazines. I them moved into the South African design industry, as the communications director for Southern Guild Gallery, programme manager for Design Network Africa, and organiser of the annual Business of Design conference.
In 2018, I transitioned into freelancing, and moved to Mexico for a year, working as a freelance design writer during the time that Mexico City reigned as World Design Capital. It was thanks to being coached by a professional life coach that I found the confidence to make this brave change in my life and work internationally. Through coaching, I was able to break through fear and awaken the truth of what I really dreamed for my life. This eventually led me to qualify as a Professional Coach and Business Coach through InnerLifeSkills, accredited by the International Coaching Federation. I have been a certified Global Coach since 2020, doing coaching work that fires up my soul as I witness people moving forward in their lives in ways they never thought possible.
I am so grateful for all of the enriching shifts I have made in my life, and the bravery with which I have pursued my passions. I truly believe that you can do it too.
